Ponti Editions reimagines the classic shirt through a utility lens: washed fabrics, honest topstitching, and the details and colour a classic has always been missing. Made for women whose lives don't fit in one place, and made to be lived in.
The shape
Our first shirt, the OO, took a solid year and many rounds of sampling to get right. Slightly oversized, relaxed but considered, it's the shape every edition begins with.
The detail
Signature embroidery, stitching in a contrast colour, and always one detail that goes its own way. The smallest details do the most work, and they're what make our shirts unmistakably Ponti.
Ponti Editions
Ponti is a nod to an island I love: sun-faded, laidback, a little worn at the edges. Every shirt embodies that easy, unhurried feeling for the everyday. It's also Italian for bridges: the things that connect different worlds, and the clothes that move between them with you.
Editions, because we don't abide by seasons. Each edition is designed and crafted to be worn throughout the year, and for years to come. When it's gone, the next one begins.
Coming full circle.
I studied fashion at RMIT and spent 10 years working across the industry, before a pivot into tech as a product designer. There, I learned to understand what people really want, and how their experience can shape design. Ponti is me returning to fashion, armed with a fresh perspective.
It started with a shirt I couldn't find: one perfect shape I could wear on repeat, with enough detail and personality to feel like me. The OO is that shirt.
